On Monday, and for the sixth year in a row, Bidfood UAE was awarded the coveted CSR Label, a certificate presented by the Dubai Chamber that recognizes the commendable efforts of companies in the areas of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility including Community, Marketplace, Environment and Workplace.
The ceremony took place at the Dubai Chamber main offices in Deira where 18 companies were honoured for their social and environmental efforts beyond the realm of their business. The CSR Label is regarded as the highest benchmark for CSR and sustainability efforts which countless local and regional companies aspire to add to their arsenal.
Speaking of the value of the award while including some congratulatory words to the winners, H.E. Majid Saif Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chamber was quoted saying: “The Dubai Chamber CSR Label honourees [are] not just gaining recognition, but enhancing their reputation in the market and setting an example for the rest of the business community,”
