Job Mission:

  • Receive customer calls for placing and upselling orders
  • Answer any inquiries pertaining to the product, orders, and deliveries
  • Support sales and suppliers in any request within the scope of work
  • Process samples requests and picking slips
  • Check updates of customers account
  • Call customers and inform them on any promotions; liquidate near expiry products; and blocked accounts
  • Submit daily reports to the Supervisor
  • Acknowledge customer complaints to maintain service and deliver quality
  • Generate sales leads to be sent to the sales department
  • Send out any communication letters to all customers through fax and emails
  • Submits daily reports to the Manager


Requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in telesales position in Food Service/F&B/FMCG Distribution Company in the UAE.
  • 100% customer driven and must be a go-getter
  • Strong sales/telesales capabilities
  • Team player
  • Ability to handle customer complaints
  • College degree
  • English is a must

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for handling and maintaining the assigned key accounts in terms of business relationships and development.

• Responsible for achieving the monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets with respect to the set margins. 

• Responsible for identifying opportunities and liaising with Brand Managers to achieve growth and profitability. 

 

Job Description

• Build and maintain strong/solid partners with the assigned key accounts.

• Develop customer-specific joint business plans and periodically monitor the agreed milestones, thereby driving customer engagement.

• Ensure high level of customer service through appropriate follow-up, sales proposition, and efficient planning with Supply Chain Team / Telesales / Finance. 

• Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction. 

• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information. 

• Lead the customer business reviews on a periodic basis and drive the completion of the action plan. 

• Handle sales forecasting for the assigned accounts and monitor the monthly demand planning.

• Monitor accounts receivables, update and negotiate payment terms, agreements, and invoicing address in relevant systems 

• Facilitate, negotiate, and supervise all contract amendments with the customer.

• Manage and monitor the budget, new listings, and competitor activities.  

 

The Successful Applicant

• The successful candidate must have 3 to 5 years’ experience in a sales position in Food Service/F&B/FMCG Distribution Company in the UAE.

• You must have gained experience in a developed market place / multinational organization.

• It is essential that you hold a College Degree. Having a UAE Driving License is a must.

• You must have developed strong selling capabilities and should be a team player.

• Preferred nationalities: Arab, Western, South and North African. 

• From 27 to 35 years old

• Brand Trainings: Conduct internal and external brand trainings on quarterly.

• Periodic review of the brand KPI’s- Sales, Investments, Growth, contribution, Market Share, Data Sharing & Service Levels.

• Provide insights to the management team on trends, competitor status that will aid in driving business decisions.

• Ensure compliance to company policies, procedures, commercial terms and local regulations.

• Seek new business opportunities in line with the organizational growth strategy

 

The Successful Applicant

• The successful candidate must have 5 to 10 years’ experience in Sales with Category knowledge (Food Service, FMCG F&B Distribution) GCC. 

• 2- 3 years in UAE

• University Degree in Business or equivalent

• Proven track record of multi brand handling & multiple task management.

• Having a UAE Driving License is a must.

• To design and implement sales & trade marketing development plans and deliver against these plans working shoulder to shoulder with the Trade Marketing Team and Head of Sales.
