This Ramadan, Bidfood UAE partnered with Taste Studio UAE to cook, pack, and distribute 1,000 Iftar meal boxes to the Emirates Red Crescent tent in JAFZA.
The day started at 1 p.m. where 16 members of our Bidfood UAE team began by building the boxes in which the food would be stored later in the day.
After that, everybody moved to the kitchen, where they split into groups each tasked with a specific mission: from scooping in the rice to topping it off with chicken and closing the lids, our team worked together in a standing chain to complete the mission. Each box was topped off with yogurt, water, dates, and a banana before being dispatched to the Emirates Red Crescent tent.
Before the day was over, all 16 volunteers and Taste Studio representatives walked to the tent to mingle, discuss the initiative, and take photos in honor of the day.
